Cornwall with its dramatic landscapes, historic towns and fishing villages mixed with friendly pubs and legend makes a superb location for a cycling holiday. The Cornish Way cycling holiday certainly shows off Cornwall at its best as it snakes from Bude to Lands End, over some 127 miles.
The places en route need no introduction such as Bodmin, Truro and St Austell. Being Cornwall it is a route of contrasting landscapes with the quiet countryside and small villages of the north, the remote moorland and sweeping vistas around Bodmin, the ‘roof of Cornwall’
. Mid-Cornwall offers a contrasting lunar landscape with the intriguing white ‘Alps’ and Mediterranean blue lakes left by the china clay industry. The superb Eden Project near St Austell is certainly on our itinerary for this cycling holiday and naturally reached by bike.
