This circular cycling holiday in France starts and finishes in Tours and meanders through the Cher, Indre and Loire valleys taking in an array of the many castles, manor houses and dreamy residences including Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceaux, Blois and Chambord.

The Loire Valley is quintessential romantic France. The castles on the river and the beautiful countryside are the reason why this region is so famous. Kings, Lords and Ladies of the court were seduced by the beautiful natural setting and it's easy to see why.

Whether travelling to France by plane, driving or taking the train, a warm welcome will greet you at your first nights accommodation. We stay in carefully selected small 2 and 3 star hotels and guesthouses that provide breakfast and evening meals. Or you can choose our B&B option and either take your evening meal at the accommodation or head out to sample the local restaurants.  

What could be better than exploring this fascinating and beautiful area by bike? You'll be cycling along seldom-used country trails and side roads on which is largely flat terrain.

These self guided holidays are available for daily departures for a minimum of two people. We book all your accommodation, transfer your luggage and then provide you with routes and itinerary for you to do the trails ‘unguided’. Just let us know your preferred start date.
