On a mixture of dirt tracks and back lanes, this cycling holiday is gently paced, with an emphasis on appreciating this beautiful area by bike, rather than getting to the next accommodation as soon as possible. You’ll have chance to meet the fiercely proud local people, taste their magnificent, diverse cuisine that changes dramatically as you head through the mountains to the coast. That said there are some decent climbs to get your legs into and earn your après ride tinto.

Accomodation along the route on this cycling holiday is picked by quality, character and authenticity to give you a truly Andalucian experience. Ancient Moorish village houses, grand casonas, rural hotels built into castle walls, a beachside thatched hotel and a riverside casa rural with an organic kitchen and the chance of a massage or Turkish bath to soothe any aching limbs; are all places you will be staying for the night. For the final few days of the holiday we will head along the beautiful, wild Costa de la Luz, passing beachside roman sites, ancient tuna fishing villages and Cabo Trafalgar. The last night’s hostelry is beachside and an ideal place to contemplate historic and personal victories, while sipping your sunset sangria!
