Tuscany - Self Guided - Cycling Holiday

A two-centre cycling holiday in the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany, that starts and finishes in the medieval town of Lucca, situated between the delightful Florence and Pisa.

Lucca is known as the town of the ‘hundred churches’, but there’s no need to worry, the bells don’t ring at night! A huge fortified city wall surrounds the charming old town with its narrow streets, great restaurants and bars, and typically friendly Italian atmosphere.

Your cycling holiday starts with two nights in Lucca before cycling onto Vinci where you spend three nights in an agriturismo. From here you undertake a series of circular rides before heading back to Lucca for your final two nights.

Each day our routes take you through the typical Tuscan landscape of vineyards and olive groves, with plenty of time to relax and absorb the local atmosphere.

During your cycling you’ll have the opportunity to visit the leaning tower in Pisa, take in the views over the Mediterranean Sea from the Appenine Mountains and pass Leonardo Da Vinci’s house in the stunning area around Vinci.
